Change and Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to offer flexibility while ensuring a smooth experience for all travelers. Please review our change and cancellation policies below:

Changes & Modifications:

  • Changes to your booking (such as date modifications or switching to another available tour) are allowed up to 72 hours before activity start, subject to availability.

  • Requests for modifications must be sent via email to reservaciones.gte@tamtravel.com or by calling (+506) 8715- 5077 / (+506) 8674-3810

  • If the new tour or date has a price difference, additional charges may apply.

Cancellations & Refunds:

Peak Season (December 15 – January 7)

  • All confirmed reservations are non-refundable. Any cancellation, modification, or no-show will incur a 100% charge of the total service cost, with no refunds under any circumstances, regardless of the reason, including personal situations, travel disruptions, flight delays, or operational changes.

Regular Season — General Cancellation & No Show Policy

  • More than 8 days before the tour: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.

  • Between 7 and 3 days before the tour: 50% refund.

  • Less than 72 hours before the tour or no-shows: No refund will be issued.

Force Majeure

  • In cases where services must be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control (including severe weather conditions or restrictions imposed by authorities), any refund that applies will be subject exclusively to the criteria of the service provider and the corresponding banking fees and credit card processing charges
